Project Wall
Spudnik Press is always looking for new people to show work on The Project Wall. We feel it is utterly important to have interesting and new artwork around when creating artwork. The wall isn’t huge, and it may not receive the traffic of a commercial gallery, but it will be appreciated. It can be considered a space to experiment, show works in progress, curate a show of work you love, and try something new.
SPUDNIK PRESS PROJECT WALL PROPOSAL REQUIREMENTS
Due Dates:
• Nov. 1: Openings between January 1 and March 31
• Feb. 1: Openings between April 1 and June 30
• May 1: Openings between July 1 and September 30
• August 1: Openings between October 1 and December 31
Basic Info
• Shows are usually on display for 3-4 weeks.
• Organizer of the show is responsible to help with installation, collecting work, distributing promotional materials, and deinstallation.
• Organizers of accepted proposals must be able to meet with Angee to review needs for the show and confirm exact date and time of the opening or event within the 2 weeks following the deadline for proposals.
• Organizer will work with Spudnik Press to plan an opening, reception, or event in conjunction with the show.
• The Project Wall consists of 16’ of wall space, divided into a 3’, 7’, and 6’ wall.
Please include the following information as a word document or pdf:
• Proposed title for the show
• Organizers name, phone number, and e-mail address
• CV or Bio that can be posted on our website (of organizer or participants).
• 3-8 images of work (jpg, pdf, or psd)
• Proposed date(s) and times for the opening/event (be as specific as possible about when you are available vs. unavailable and what is your preferred or ideal dates)
• Project or Show Proposal (one page maximum)
